My Films of 2020
This has been my worst year for seeing new films in a long time. The reason is mainly the obvious one; the pandemic and the closure of cinemas for most of the year put a major crimp on new films in general and my ability to see them. I think I only managed to get to a cinema a couple of times in January and February then once on their re-opening in August. So, all in all, I struggled to get a solid ten films released in the UK in 2020 together. Certainly, the top five would be strong contenders even if I did have a full movie-going year.
